The modest 1,500 square feet residence is designed with a deep covered porch of equal area. The simple roof extends to both side setbacks and is pitched up to the river. The house is designed to take advantage of the Florida climate.

All sliding glass doors facing the river pocket behind a cast-in-place concrete wall. When open, the living space extends to the outside edge of the porch. Aluminum louvers running the length of the house offer additional shade to the house and porch.
