Courtyard House

The house is organized around an existing live oak, the only stately tree of the site. The resulting courtyard separates the public and private spaces.

On the south side of the house, a large covered terrace provides shelter and a transition to the pool deck. The house can open up from the oak court to the pool yard.

A linear axis lit continuously by clerestory windows provides a link to tie the public nad private spaces.
