Art Center Sarasota

We were asked to redesign the entry to Art Center Sarasota. The art center currently lacks a foyer to separate the entry from the gallery spaces. The design we generated helped the center secure funding to build a new donor wall, entry desk, and foyer.

Principal Michael Halflants assigned his 14 architecture students from the University of South Florida to develop and build the project in full scale. The foyer will be built in exposed steel and wood on the latest fabrication tools of the architecture department.
